Ture "Bud" Anderson, 88, of Bowman, ND, formerly of Scranton, ND passed away on August 5, 2015 at the Southwest Healthcare Hospital in Bowman.

Funeral Services for Bud will be on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church in Scranton. Pastor Galen Strand will officiate with burial to follow in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Scranton. There will be a Family and Friends Service on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Krebsbach Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Ture C. (Bud) Anderson was born April 27, 1927 in Gascoyne, N.D. the son of Emelia and Ture Anderson. Bud graduated from Scranton High School in 1946. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp from 1946 to 1949. Bud worked at Scranton Equity from 1951 to 1967. He then managed the Porter, MN elevator from 1967 to 1970. In 1970 he moved to Grand Forks, ND to manage the feed department at the North Dakota Mill and Elevator. He returned to Scranton, ND in 1979 and served as General Manager of Scranton Equity Exchange until he retired in 1990. He was a member and served as president of the North Dakota Grain Dealers Association.

Bud married Mila Conrad on Oct. 27, 1950 in Reeder, ND and they raised their five children in Scranton, ND, Porter MN, and Grand Forks, ND. Bud and Mila enjoyed their retirement years in Mesa, AZ. They were avid golfers and volunteers. Bud and Mila also traveled extensively. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife Mila, of Bowman, ND; Zane (Bonnie) of Bowman, ND; Connie Anderson-Cohoon (Joe) of Ashland, OR; Jody (Mike Erickson) of Anoka, MN; Kathi Martinez (Ray) of Albuquerque, NM; and Kim (Laura) of Minnetonka, MN. Thirteen grandchildren, Erin (Dan) Lencowski, Kristin Anderson (fiancée Zach Herrmann), Brittany Nygaard (Jarred), Alex Nagel, Leah Erickson (Dan Christians), Michael Martinez, Candy Chavez (Gene), Andrea Martinez, Zach Anderson, Gabriele Grunewald (Justin), Caleb Anderson (fiancée Bithia Fikru), Abigail Anderson, and Ben Anderson. Great granddaughter, Flora Grace Christians. Brother-in-law Mason Conrad and sister-in-law Judy Benson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Helen Orcutt, Edna Parker, Nan Kaitfors, Esther Werre, George Anderson, Doris Hansen, Arlene Cornella, June Emeline; and grandson Luke Erickson.

Bud was a kind and loving guy and we will miss him greatly.
