Thomas Matthew Buckley, Jr. (Tom), 66, of Bowman, North Dakota passed away Saturday morning, June 27, 2020. Tom was born August 26, 1953 in Bowman, North Dakota to Thomas M. Buckley, Sr. and Illa Mae (Anderson) Buckley, both deceased.

Tom was raised on the family ranch in Harding County, SD and graduated from Bowman High School in 1972.  He attended Dickinson State College for a short time and Mountain Plains Educational Program in Glasgow, Montana.

Tom had a long career as an over-the-road truck driver and enjoyed his travels across the United States. He also enjoyed motorcycle adventures, fishing, and telling stories to whomever had a spare minute to chat. Tom was always there for his friends and was willing to help as he was able.

Tom is survived by his daughters Kelly Jo Buckley of Fayetteville, AR and Johanna (Chad) Reznicek and grandchildren, Aliya and Tarek, of Johnstown, CO; brother Gary (Kim) Buckley of Bowman, ND; sister Mary Jo Decker of Powell, WY; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents and his sister, Wanda Al-Janaby.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Krebsbach Funeral Service in Bowman, North Dakota. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 30 at 1:00pm st the Krebsbach Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, Tom's family encourages friends and family to make a donation to their favorite charitable cause.
