Sheri Lynn Bloomgren Breen, 64, Bowman, ND died Saturday afternoon, June 20, 2015, at Sanford Hospital, Bismarck. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday morning, June 24th, at 10:00 AM, at the Bowman Lutheran Church, Bowman. The Pastor Charles Swanson will officiate with burial in the Bowman Cemetery. A Family Service will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM at the Bowman Lutheran Church.

Sheri was born May 11, 1951, at St. Luke's Tri-State Memorial Hospital (the first baby born at the facility), in Bowman, ND, the daughter of Robert (Rob) and Phyllis Peterson. She was raised on the family farm north of Bowman, attended Bowman schools, and graduated high school in 1969. During high school, she received an award for "Miss Personality", was a cheerleader, and was well known and loved by everyone.

On January 16, 1970, Sheri married Steve Bloomgren at the Bowman Lutheran Church, Bowman. During most of her working life, Sheri worked as a waitress or receptionist. Between 1971 and 1978, Steve and Sheri were blessed with 3 boys: Jason, Justin, and Jared. Family activities included: camping, fishing, visiting Salem Sue, Tobacco Gardens, Mobridge, Reptile Gardens, and of course Bowman Haley Dam. On December 24, 2000, Sheri lost the father of her children and became a widow.

On November 24, 2004, Sheri married John Breen to fill the remainder of her life with love and joy. They enjoyed each other's company and have had many traveling adventures with plans of traveling the world. In their short time, they were able to travel to Daytona, Tampa Bay, Mexico, Honduras, Belize, Caribbean, South Carolina, and Las Vegas. Spending time in the company of friends and family was one of their favorite past times.
Sheri was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Peterson; father, Rob Peterson; first husband, Steve Bloomgren; granddaughter, Hailee Bloomgren; grandson, Dillan Bloomgren, and mother-in-law, Maggie Breen. Survivors include her second husband: John Breen, Bowman, ND; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Jason and Jean Bloomgren, Dickinson, ND; Justin and Chris Bloomgren, Buffalo, WY; and Jared Bloomgren, Summerset, SD; three step-sons: Dillon Breen, Fargo, ND, Dallas Breen, Bowman, ND, and Dalton Breen, Bowman, ND; two step-daughters: Shannon Hullinger, Gillette, WY, and Dakota Breen, Fargo, ND; one sister: Linda Lewton, Dickinson, ND; one brother: Larry Peterson, Dickinson, ND; eleven grandchildren; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and cousins.
