Sheala married Wayne Gross on July 24, 1955.  They lived on the family farm south of Griffin where they raised their three daughters, Sherry Smith, Cindy Gross and Ginger Fretheim.  Due to Wayne becoming disabled with health issues they sold and moved off the farm in 1975.  They moved into Bowman in the house they built.  Wayne passed away shortly after on Dec 30, 1975.
