On June 11, 1941, Roselle was united in marriage to Oliv Levi Toft at Buffalo, South
Dakota. Six children were born to this union. Linda (Max) Arnett, Laurie (Dwight) Sabo,
Larine (Roger) Page, Oliv (Butch) (Roberta) Toft, Bill (Diane) Toft, & Lee (Debbie) Toft.
They made their home on the homestead farm west of Ludlow until Oliv's death on
July 8, 1956, leaving Roselle a widow at 37 years young with six children ages 14 – 2 ½.

On January 1, 1958 at one minute after midnight Roselle married Loyal David Carter
at Baker, Montana. Together they had two children, John Scott and Brenda (Doug) Kraft.

Roselle was a member of the Lutheran Church, the Lioness Club and a Birthday Club.

In Roselle's younger days she worked in Marmarth, North Dakota for a Doctor Brown

babysat for her Uncle & Aunts family.

Roselle was a very hard worker. She cooked in the old Oasis and the Western Café.
Mom was a good cook and always could cook up a tasty meal in minutes. Mom was a very
caring and giving person who thought of others before herself. She fixed many of her
friends hair and would take them shopping, she too loved to shop. Mom's real passion was
playing cards and anyone that stopped in had to play a game. She was a card shark and
was a very competitive player. Traveling was also one of the highlights of her life. She
would take off on a whim, traveling across states, with her traveling partner,
Gladys Oja by her side.

Roselle worked at the Green Giant Plant in Belvidere, Illinois, the State Home Health Care
in Harding County where she took care of clients that was much younger than she. Mom
also took care of her mother until her death in 1980.

Roselle is survived by all eight of her children, twenty-six grandchildren, fifty-five great
grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her two husbands', Oliv & Stub, her parents Nels & Emma,
three sisters Mildred, Norma, & Thelma, one brother Lloyd & one grandson Josh Sabo.
