Roger "Chaz" Johnson, 70, of Fargo, ND, passed away in Fargo, ND on November 24, 2024 after a short battle with cancer.

Chaz, the only name he would respond to was originally from Ludlow, SD, born to Elmer and Dorothy (Homelvig) Johnson.  Born on April 6, 1954 in Bowman, ND, the youngest of 3 children.  Chaz went to Ludlow elementary school and then to Bowman High School where he graduated in 1972.   After high school, Chaz attended Bismarck Jr. College where he received a degree in Art in 1974.  Chaz had a few different jobs throughout the years but was mainly a long-haul trucker.  When he wasn't driving, he had his own company "Chaz Productions" catering to music venues, setting up stages and sound for various concerts.

Roger is survived by his brother Merle (Bettyna) Johnson, niece, Breena (Daniel) Clayton and their children; Calen, Foster and Hudson and niece Shalee (Jeff) Smith and their children; Jaden, Aubree and Boden and niece Katrina Johnson, Nephew Toby (Julie) Strom and their children; Jackson, Lily, Carter and Olivia and nephew Alex (Tracey) Strom and their children; Jared, Caitlynn, Addison and Logan.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Dorothy Johnson and sister, Margie Strom.

As Roger requested, his cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
