Rodney Galen Kirschmann, 71, of Regent, North Dakota, passed away on  April 17, 2026   in Dickinson, North Dakota.

He was born on December 15, 1954, to Edward and Adeline Kirschmann, in Dickinson, North Dakota, and grew up on the family farm south of Regent, North Dakota.  Rodney  helped on the farm as soon as he was allowed. After spending over 40 years as a farmer you could say farming was in his blood.

In 1973 Rodney graduated from Regent High School and married his sweetheart Judith Davis 3 years later on June 27, 1976, in Bowman, North Dakota. Judy passed away on July, 2020, after 44 years of marriage. They raised their boys, Dustin and Brooks, on the farm instilling a love for the soil and farming in them.

Rodney also worked to set up the processing of gold mine materials, operated a honey packing plant and assembled a plastic extruding machine.  He enjoyed creating things such as tools or tables in the farm's shop, woodworking, and designing. He designed and built a fire wall at his home.

In his younger days Rodney enjoyed snow skiing and watching, or, if he was busy, listening to Minnesota Twins baseball games.

His sons, Dustin (Stephanie) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Brooks (Kimberly) of Ringgold, Georgia, sister Bonita (Howard) Bolte of Billings, Montana and brother Rich (Terry) Kirschmann of St. Louis, Missouri, as well as numerous cousins survive him.

A Celebration of Rodney's Life will be held at the Bowman Seventh Day Adventist Church on April 26, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.  The family invites all who knew him to attend and share their favorite memories with family and friends.
