Robert "Bob" Sedevie was born on May 8, 1947, in Dickinson, ND, to Allen and Eva (Kronberger) Sedevie. In his early years, they lived on the Sedevie family farm in Slope County between Bowman and Amidon before the family moved to Bowman in 1952. Bob worked at Red Owl Store in Bowman and for his father at Al's Blacksmith Shop during high school.

He graduated from Bowman High School in 1965 and attended the National College of Business in Rapid City, SD, before entering the US Army in 1967. Stationed at Fort Holabird, MD, Fort Huachuca, AZ, and Tucson, AZ, for three and a half years. After the army, he went to the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton for Welding, where he met Corrine Thoe. They married on December 16, 1972, made their home in West Fargo, and had two children. Bob bowled in several leagues for years and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping with friends and family. He created many fun memories (and a few shenanigans) at the lakes during the summer, the annual Labor Day weekend fishing tournament (Buffalo Lake Braggin Rights), and hunting trips to Coleharbor and Bowman.

He worked at Steiger Tractor / Case IH first as a welder, moving up to Foreman, General Foreman, and Manufacturing Engineer. After 28 years, he retired on September 28, 2000, one day before his first grandchild was born. He was ecstatic and proud to take on the new role of Papa Bob!

Bob was a dedicated, supportive father, papa, brother, and friend who was always there for you. He loved his family and cherished every minute with his grandkids, where they had many adventures and 'Papa Training' sessions.

Bob is survived by his two children; daughter Angela Berg and son Eric Sedevie, both of West Fargo; grandchildren: Allison Berg and Jacob Sedevie; great-grandchildren: Leila Grace and Hyde Robert; sisters: Barbara Sedevie of Bowman and Rita Sedevie-Stebbins (Butch) of Prescott Valley, AZ; and brothers: James Sedevie of Los Angeles, CA, and Thomas Sedevie (Wanda Lutes) of Bowman. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Eva Sedevie, and brother David Sedevie.
