Paul S. Busse, 63, of Camp Crook, SD, died on Monday, March 1, 2010 at the Southwest Healthcare Hospital in Bowman, ND. Funeral Services for Paul will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Little Missouri Lutheran Church, Capital, MT. Pastor Susan Fox will officiate with burial to be held at a later date in the family plot in Minnesota.

Paul S. Busse was born on October 5, 1946 in St. Peter, MN, the son of Evan and Edith (Peebles) Busse. He was reared on the family farm near Le Sueur, MN and attended Cleveland Public School. He graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1964 and continued his education at Mankato State University where he received his degree in Elementary Education. Paul taught elementary school at the Marty Indian School on the Pine Ridge Reservation in Marty, SD. He began working as a hired hand for Justin and Sandy Hildreth in 2004. He had a love for animals and helped raise a variety of them, even feeding baby buffalo with bottles. The Hildreths say he was the most dependable hired man they ever worked with. He went on to work for the Liitle Missouri River Ranch where he worked until the time of his death. Paul did not believe in a lot of earthly possessions and he lived a simple life on the ranch. He will be remembered as a loving brother, a caring uncle, and a gentle soul who was a devout Christian.

Paul was preceded in death by parents Evan and Edith Busse and brother Dave of Le Sueur, MN and is survived by brother Dan (Nancy) and sister Ruth (Richard) Lindh, sister-in-law Sandra Busse, nephews and nieces.
