Pamela (Barbara) Miller, 81, passed away September 13th, 2022 at Multicare Good Samaritan
Hospital, Puyallup, WA. Born September 11th, 1941 in Baker, MT to Cecil and Barbara
(Jorgenson) Green. Pam was raised by Johnny & Beulah Jorgenson due to her mothers
passing shortly after she was born.
Pam went to Elementary School in Langberg, (Bowman Township) and attended High School in
Bowman. Pam Graduated from Bowman High School. Following High School, Pam attended
Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD.
In 1959, Pam married LaVerne Miller. They lived on the Ranch 7 miles south of Marmarth. They
welcomed three children into their lives; Brad, Craig and Kristie. LaVerne was tragically killed in
a plane accident in January 1978. Pam later moved to Bowman and then out to Washington in
1992 by her brother Tom & Sylvia Green. Initially she worked for Tom & Sylvia in the mobile
home business.
Pam enjoyed cooking, reading, traveling, camping and being part of the Marmarth Historical
Society, spending time with her grandkids, traveling back to North Dakota to see family &
friends.
Pam will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband
LaVerne; son Craig; sister Sharon Myers; brothers Thomas Green & John "Jack" Green; her
parents Cecil & Barbara.
She is survived by her son Brad (Nikki) Miller, Mandan, ND; daughter Kristie Miller, Auburn, WA,
grandchildren, Titus (TJ) Ross & Lyriq Robertson, Auburn, WA; Myeshia Burris (Donnie), Auburn,
WA, Brandon (Chelsey) Miller, Dodge City Kansas; Colton Miller (Jamie Barton), Steamboat
Springs, CO; Kaylyn (Max) Carlson Bobbie Jo (David) Young, Mandan, ND and
great-grandchildren; Vellie, Zhami, Melo, Tripp, Kitt, Tristian, Peyton. Several nieces and
nephews.

Family will have a gathering on October 7th, 2022, at the Bowman Lodge, "Dakota Room" from
7-9pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 at 11 AM at the Bowman Lutheran
Church in Bowman, ND.
Burial will follow at the Bowman Cemetery.
