Nora M. Hyde, 74, of Bowman, ND, passed away on August 16, 2023 at the Southwest Healthcare Long Term Center in Bowman.  Funeral Services for Nora will be on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bowman assembly of God Church.  Pastor Ed Kvaale will officiate with burial to follow in the Bowman Cemetery.  Visitation for Nora will be on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 12-9 at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel.

Nora Hyde died peacefully at Southwest Healthcare 8-16-23 due to failing health. Nora was born to
Rolland Arthur and Margaret Loretta Hyde 1-4-49 in Miles City, Montana. Rolland and Margie had three
daughters together, the oldest Nora, then Jean and Agnes. Nora also had a stepbrother named Melvin.
The family moved several times throughout the years between ND, MT, and SD. Nora lived with her
family until she was 34. She first moved to Bowman in 1984 and lived with her sister Jean and brother
Melvin. She started at ABLE's Work Activity program in 1985.
Nora developed lasting friendships in Bowman and even with her many moves, always came back to
Bowman which she considered home.  ABLE continued to support her at home and at work throughout
all these years.  Those who knew Nora enjoyed her humor and practical jokes.  Of course, it was well
known not to tell her what to do as she was in charge.  Darwin knew that very well.  His family became
Nora's family and Tootsie and Bob Brewer always included them for holidays and family gatherings.
Nora joined Darwin's Bowman Assembly of God Church and enjoyed the fellowship with other
members.  Together they attended many community events and especially enjoyed going out for coffee
every day.  What a great couple.  Once you met them you instantly knew how perfect they were
together.  Nora will be missed by so many, especially her beloved Darwin.
Nora is survived by her sister Agnes who resides in Dickinson, ND, boyfriend Darwin Magnuson, her ABLE
family, and caretakers at Southwest Healthcare Services.
Preceding her in death are her parents Rolland and Margaret, stepbrother Melvin Schmitt, and sister
Jean.
