Michael Joseph Stinchfield died on October 31, 2021, at Sanford Medical Center Bismarck, ND, surrounded by his loving family.

Mike was born to Joe and Shirley (Egeland) in Hettinger, North Dakota, on June 15, 1950. He attended all his school years at Bowman graduating in 1969. He served in the US Army for two years and then attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton North Dakota to become a plumber. He worked mostly for Stinchfield Ditching until the fall of 1978 and then moved to Spearfish to work for Walff's Plumbing doing commercial plumbing. 1981 found him returning to Bowman to take over his dad's plumbing business until retiring in 2017. He retired at the age of 67 but did not truly retire often helping anyone who called with plumbing problems, being site manager for his daughter's Campground and very much enjoyed his grounds maintenance job at Bowman Haley Dam.

He married Bonnie Hanes September 26, 1975 and they had three girls Sunni, Carri and Stephi.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Stinchfield and his brother-in-law Bill Weber.

He is survived by his father Joe and Jan Stinchfield, his wife Bonnie, daughters Sunni (Jason), granddaughter Kinsley, Carri (Tadd), granddaughters Summer and Taylor, Stephi (Casey), sisters Diane Weber, Debbie and Terry Sarsland, Joel and Les Rolph, Mark and Teresa Stinchfield, and Matt Stinchfield and numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.

Mike was the kindest and most hard working man we know and we will miss him every day. He wasn't perfect but he was perfect for us!

Mike has continued the gift of sight by donating to the Lions Eye Bank.
