Mary Jane Meyers, 71, of Bowman, ND, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Southwest Healthcare Hospital in Bowman, ND.

Funeral Services for Mary Jane will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Bowman, ND. Pastor Phil Lint will officiate with burial to follow in the Bowman Cemetery. Visitation for Mary Jane will be on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 9-9 at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel in Bowman.

Mary-Jane was born in Whitman, Massachusetts on November 20th, 1942, the daughter of "Gunner" and Alma Hunt. She was the 3rd of 5 girls, and graduated from Whitman High School in 1962. Some years later she came to North Dakota to visit her aunt and uncle, and loved North Dakota so much that she decided to stay.

Mary-Jane married Robert Meyers on June 3, 1976 and 1 child was born to this union: Dawn Marie. She worked at the nursing home until she hurt her hip and was unable to continue. After that she babysat for many years as she always loved children.

Mary-Jane loved to read and could be found every morning with her Bible and devotions in hand. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and doing things with them. She spent most of her time at the church and helped do anything and everything that she could to assist there. She had the most giving heart and would give you the shirt off her back as she could "always get another one". She loved to give cards for Birthdays and any occasion and will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Mary -Jane was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and sister, Susie. She is survived by her husband Robert, daughter Dawn (Kent), three sisters: Emmy, Shirley, and Carol-Anne: and 13 grandchildren: Riley, Josiah, Noah, Eponine, Zechariah, Uriah, Aralynn, Elijah, Judah, Miri, Rhiannon, Isaiah, and Micah.
