Marian L. Brewer, 86, of Bowman, ND died on June 11th, 2014 at Sanford Health Medical Center, Bismarck, ND.

Funeral Services for Marian will be Monday, June 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bowman Methodist Church in Bowman. Pastor Ron Olson will officiate with burial following at the Bowman Cemetery, Bowman, ND. A Friends and Family Service will be Sunday, June 15, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 15, 2014, at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Chapel from 10:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Marian was born May 1, 1928, in Bowman to Leonard and Clara (Vatne) Egeland. Her early years were spent with her family on their farm near Rhame, ND. She attended Sunset Butte school and graduated from Bowman High School in 1946. She then attended and received her teaching certificate from Dickinson Teacher's College. She taught at Sunset Butte School until her marriage to the love of her life, Wilbur E. Brewer on June 26, 1947.

Marian and Wilbur farmed near Bowman where they raised their three children. Marian loved the farm and was a wonderful cook. They moved from the farm to Bowman in 1965 and devoted their time to their Weather Modification, Inc. business.

After retiring, Marian and Wilbur traveled extensively with their motor home and their houseboats. One of their highlights was a boat trip from Minneapolis to New Orleans on the Mississippi River with their friends, Ray and Irene Lorenz. They enjoyed the company of their friends everywhere they went. Their last winters together were spent in Apache Junction, AZ. After Wilbur's passing in 2003, Marian continued to winter in Arizona with the help of her wonderful friends, Gene Langlee, Opal Burns and Harold Emme.

Marian was a member of the Bowman Methodist church, the Eastern Star, and Past Matrons.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma and great grandma. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her. She will be missed by all.

Marian is survived by one son, Robert "Bobb" (Tootsie) Brewer, two daughters, Peggy (Terry) Harzinski, Bismarck, ND and Janet Haralson, Sidney, MT, her five grandchildren, Kristofer Harzinski, Philadelphia, PA, Tyler (Ashley Rutter) Harzinski, Chicago, IL, Ryan (Jodi) Brewer, Bowman, Rachelle (Sam) Juntunen, Amidon and Dustin (Alicia) Haralson, Sidney, MT, her great grandchildren, Trey and Aspen Brewer, McKenna, Micah and Marrett Haralson, Sidney, and Jace Juntunen, Amidon and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur, her parents, Leonard and Clara Egeland, her brothers Raymond Kulseth and Donald Egeland and one sister Helen Maciejewski.
