Margaret Ferrell, 88, of Marmarth, ND, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at the West River Medical Center in Hettinger.

Funeral Services for Margaret will be on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Bowman Assembly of God Church.  Pastor Ed Kvaale will officiate with burial to follow in the Riverside Cemetery Marmarth. Fellowship will be served at noon at the Marmarth community center.  Visitation for Margaret will be on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 12-9 at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel.

Margaret was born on May 14, 1933, in Sentinel Butte, ND, the daughter of Joseph and Grace Dietz.  She was the third of fourteen children.  Margaret met Harvey Ferrell in Miles City, MT, at a community dance in 1950.  They were united in marriage on August 23, 1951.  After their marriage, they moved to a farm North of Marmarth, ND, until 1958 when they moved into town with their four children: Gerald, Jeanette, Marilyn and Julie.  Margaret worked as a cook at the local café and worked nights as a janitor at the Marmarth School.  She enjoyed helping elderly with odd jobs.  She cooked for Marmarth Eldercare in her later years.  She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family.  Most of all, Margaret looked forward to Thursday's as she would spend time with all 8 of her grandchildren while the girls went bowling.  She could tell many stories of these days.  She loved to play marbles, shake dice, and put together puzzles with her daughters.

Margaret is survived by her children; Gerald (Arlene), Jeanette (Dave), Marilyn (Terry) and Julie (Terry), 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren and 5 brothers and sisters.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 4 sons and 2 sons-in-law and 9 brothers.
