Laurel "Lolli" Claymore, 67, of Pierre, SD, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the Mary House Hospice in Pierre.
Funeral Services for Lolli will be on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. CST in Kenel, SD, at the Assumption of Mary Catholic Church. Fr. Ron Gary will celebrate the Mass.
Lolli was born on August 19, 1948, the daughter of Jim and Evelyn (Claymore) Brown and she was raised in Deadwood, SD. Lolli graduated high school in 1965 at Reeder High School in Reeder, ND. She then attended Business College in Aberdeen, SD. She worked for United Sioux Tribes for 28 years.
Lolli loved to travel and was able to do so through work. She loved reading books. She loved to cross-stitch and embroider. She had a love of shopping that she inherited from her mother. She loved horses as a girl and as an adult collected glass horses to decorate her home.
She is survived by her son Shayne Marshall of Pierre, SD; parents Jim and Evelyn Brown of Reeder, ND; sisters, Khristine (Vic) Hakanson of Tempe, TX and Kari (Wes) Schwartzwalter of Scranton, ND; brother P.J. (Ann) Brown of Ham Lake, MN; 4 nephews; 7 nieces; 4 great nieces and numerous cousins and friends.
