Jessica (Jessie) Nicole Ridl blessed our lives on November 3, 1984 born to proud parents Jim and Susan (Ruff) Ridl. She was premature weighing in at four pounds four ounces arriving before her time and leaving us too early.

Jessie graduated from Bowman High School in 2003. She attended Dickinson State University and then furthered her education at Headlines Academy in Rapid City, SD in which she became a certified massage therapist. Jessie's therapeutic touch and her positive energy were comforting and helpful to the many people she touched.

She was a vibrant free-spirited young woman who loved life. Everyday was an adventure and she lived life it to its fullest whether she was working or enjoying her time camping with friends and family. Jessie always would tell you what was on her mind. She was loud and outspoken and wasn't afraid to tell you how it was. Even though Jessie appeared tough on the outside she had compassion to open her heart to others especially those who were going through a tough time or those that were less fortunate.

Jessie was tragically taken from us in an ATV accident on June 3rd at Bowman Haley Dam.

Jessie will live on through her son, Tristan (10) who was the joy of her short life. She is also survived by her parents Jim and Susan (Ruff) Ridl of Bowman, ND; two brothers Josh (Jenna) Ridl, Bowman, ND; and Jared Ridl, Grand Forks, ND; two nieces Reese and Ellie Ridl, Bowman, ND; Grandparents Lloyd and Clara Ruff, Rapid City, SD; and Bob and Vicki Ridl, Bowman, ND. Jessie is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.

Visitations - a rosary service with family and friends will be held at St. Charles Catholic Church on Thursday, June 7th at 7:00 pm in Bowman, ND.

Services: a celebration mass will be held on Friday, June 8th at 1:00 pm with Father David Morman officiating.

A scholarship fund has been established for Jessie's son, Tristan. Memorials can be made to the Tristan Ridl Scholarship Fund for his future education and mailed to Dakota Western Bank at 202 South Main, Bowman, ND 58623.
