Jaxon Klempel, 17, of Reva, SD, passed away on June 5, 2019 from injuries sustained in a vehicle roll over.

Mass of Christian Burial for Jaxon will be on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harding County High School Gymnasium. Fr. Ed Vanory will celebrate the Mass with burial to follow in the Buffalo Cemetery. There will be a Rosary and Vigil Service on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the Reva Hall beginning at 7:00 p.m.

​ Jaxon Tyrel Klempel was born July 9, 2001.  Jaxon lived in Reva, SD with his father, Joshua Klempel, mother, Erin (Lermeny) Klempel, older, and younger brother, Jaden and Jace Klempel.  Jaxon could be found any day of the week doing what he loved to do which was working cattle, repairing fence, branding, and other ranch chores, along with helping friends and family, and playing with his cousins.

​ Jaxon would have been a senior student this next school year at Harding County High School.  He participated in several track & field events, played Defensive End & Guard for the Rancher football team , he also played a mean center position during the basketball season.  While in elementary he tried his hand and wrestled in AAU . Jaxon put all that he had in to everything he did.  He could always be counted on to give you a strong handshake and an even stronger bear hug, whenever he greeted you.  Jaxon was known around Harding County as the "gentle giant" due to his extraordinary shoe size of 17, and his unmatched caring demeanor for all those that he loved.  Jaxon was a champion of caring for and loving people no matter what.  In his past time Jaxon loved to play darts, play a good game of pinochle, fish, and was an avid hunter.

​ On June 5, 2019 Jaxon was taken from this world after doing what he loved to do , helping the neighbor s out with a branding .  Our Lord and Savior took him to live in his eternal home in heaven.  We are forever blessed, and honored to have been a part of his life.  Jaxon is survived by his father and mother, Joshua and Erin (Lermeny) Klempel, brothers Ja den and Jace Klempel, love of his life , Alayna Tomac , great grandmother Ardis (Collie) Lermeny, grandparents, Mark and Marcia Lermeny, grandparents, John and Sue Klempel ; aunts and uncles Margo, and Tyler Carroll, Dillon and Julia Lermeny, Chance and Casey Lermeny , and Jared and Angela Klempel; and cousins, Doyle L ermeny, Griffin Lermeny, Gretta Lermeny, Pauline Lermeny, Kaylee Lermeny, Collin Lermeny, Crosby Lermeny, Kimber Carroll, Jaxon Tabert , and Sawyer Klempel.  Jaxon is proceeded in death by his great grandparents, Gus and Clara Klempel, Walter and Evelyn Knopp , "Papa" George Lermeny, Melvin and Martha Heggem ; uncles, Will Tiegen , Lonny Balo , Ron Steiner, and Robert "Butch" Knopp ; and cousins, Amanda Martain and Eric Lermeny.
