Janice A. Baesler, 67 of Bowman, ND died on November 24, 2010 at the St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND.

Funeral Services for Janice will be on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bowman Lutheran Church. Pastor Galen Strand and Pastor Charles Swanson will officate with burial to follow in the Bowman Cemetery. There will be a Family and Friends Service on Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chaple beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Janice A. Bertsch was born on December 15, 1942 to Herman and Annie (Heinle) Bertsch in Herbron, ND. There she attended coutry school in her early years and ater Hebron public school where she greaduated from high school in 1960. Janice married Dean Baesler on December 22, 1962 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in New Leipzig, ND. They lived in Elgin, ND, for a short time before making heir home in Bowman, ND. There their daughter Dawn was born December 10, 1963 and a son Darren on October 15, 1965. She was a wonderful housewife and mother. She later did babysitting in her home. She started doing bookkeeping for farmers distributors and then later for Melvin Miller Construction until the time of her death. She loved to sew and would make clothes for family and friends. She also made barbie doll clothes. Another pastime of hers was playing cards and gardening. She would grow and can vegetables so her family and friends could enjoy in the winter months. She loved to travel with Dean when they went on business trips. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her 3 grandchildren. She also baked and cooked for many holiday get togethers. She also loved to sit down and read a good romance book.

Janice is survived by her husband Dean Baesler of Bowman, ND; two children, Dawn and Tony Heick of Bowman, ND and Darren and Lois Baesler of Bowman, ND. Three grandchildren, Daniel and Matthew Baesler and amber Heick all of Bowman, ND, Aunt Alma Pluth of Dickinson, ND, twin sisters, LaVerne Seehafer and LaVonne (Mike) Stegmill both of Flasher, ND and numerous nieces and nephews with one special niece Erin seehafer of Mandan, ND, brother and sister-in-laws; Don (Eileen) Baesler of New Leipzig, ND, Doris (Clifford) Okken of Glendale, AZ, Duane (Helen) Baesler of Williston, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Annie Bertsch, brother Gary Bertsch, infant sister, brother-in-law, Steve Seehafer, mother and father-in-law, Emil and Marie Baesler, with many dear friends and relatives and a special family friend Maurice Kringen.
