James Jay Jeffres, 56, of Scranton, ND, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2016 at the Southwest Healthcare Hospital in Bowman, ND.
Funeral Services for James will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Krebsbach Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Charles Swanson will officiate with burial at a later date.

Jimmy was born October 26, 1958 to Kenneth Lee and Margaret Jeffres in Thermopolis, Wyoming were he spent his youth. He is survived by two sons Agustus James and Eli Crandall Jeffres born to him and Christine Kochel. Gus and Eli where his "heartshines"as his tatoo attested. He lived his last year in Scranton, N.D. and found a peace there within himself that had been missing for a long time. He leaves behind sisters Stormy Jeffres (Donny Henderson), Casey Scott (Ron Scott) Nieces and Nephews Jimilee DeZort, Stephanie Scott, Beverly Bos, Savanna MacConnell, Casey Lee Sharp and J.B Sharp. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him, his many brothers who walk with him through his hard, happy travels through life filled with laughter.
