Harold Tysver, 52, of Bowman, ND, passed away on May 1, 2014 at his home near Bowman.

Memorial Services for Harold will be at 2:oo p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Scranton. Pastor Mary Peterson will officiate, with burial to follow in the Scranton Cemetery.

Harold Tysver was born on October 9, 1961 in Dickinson, ND, the son of Joseph and Annie (Lester) Tysver. He lived in Dunn Center, ND before the family moved to Bowman and then settling in Scranton, ND in 1972.

Harold was a very hard worker, working for Dean Kahrs and the Scranton Equity during his high school years. He received his education in Scranton and graduated from Scranton High School in 1979. After High School, Harold worked for a pipeline company in Dickinson, Zane's Fiberglass in Scranton and in the oil fields of Wyoming. He started Tysver Well Drilling with his dad in 1982, taking over the business in 1990. He was very active in both North and South Dakota well drilling associations until his passing.

Harold was joined in 1990 by his loving partner Marion Erickson and her 3 children; Kellee, Billy and Bobby whom he helped raise. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Harold had a love for old fast cars. He restored his pride and joy; a 1955 chevy 2 door sedan when he was a senior in high school. His mother threatened to move his bed to the garage, as he worked many late nights to get it done. He collected many cars over the years with plans of restoring them.

Harold had a big heart and would do anything he could to help people he cared for, especially his mom and dad. He was always there for them anytime they needed him.

Harold will be missed by his loving companion of 24 years, Marion Erickson; Kellee Hahn and Drew of Fargo, ND, Bill Erickson and Chloe of Upton , WY, Bob (Ronnie) Erickson and Robert of Autumn, IN, parents, Joe and Annie Tysver of Scranton, ND, brothers; Albert (Tonya) Tysver of Scranton, ND, Irvin Tysver of Billings, MT, and Tom (Karla) Tysver of Bismarck, ND, sister, Judy (Ron) Gangl of St. Anthony, ND, 2 nieces, Holly Gangl of Bismarck, ND and Morgan Tysver of Savage, MT, 6 nephews, Monte (Michelle) Gangl of St. Anthony, Kanyon Tysver of Savage, MT, Colton Tysver of Billings, MT, Ryan (Chelsay) Tysver, Marcus Jahner and Mason Jahner of Bismarck, ND, along with many special aunts, uncles and cousins.

Harold was preceded in death by his grandparents and one sister in law, Karla Rae Tysver.
