Funeral Services for Jerri Storer will be held on Friday, September 11, 2027 at 10:00 am at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Bowman Cemetery. Following the burial will be fellowship at the St. Charles Catholic Church. All are welcome.

Geraldine (Jerri) was born to Edmund and Celestine (Hirsch) Schaff February 2, 1937. She was the oldest of 9 children. She married Lorrain Storer June 5, 1954. She and Lorrain had five children by the time she was 23.

They were very adventuresome. They started on a small farm north of Bowman. In 1967 they moved their young family to Tacoma Washington. There were several moves in Washington and to Denver, before returning to North Dakota in 1973.

Jerri has held many positions. Before marriage Jerri was a nurse aid. She worked for "the nuns." in Bowman. In Washington she tried her hand as a nurse aid, a factory worker and performed ironing as a side job. Once back in North Dakota she worked as a store clerk, a Home maker Aid in addition to being a farm wife and a mother again.

Jerri and Lorrain had a love for camping and fishing. In Washington state, many memories were made at their Ocean Shores property digging clams and oyster picking. There were several boating excursions to catch salmon in little 19 foot boat. Back in North Dakota, many more camping and fishing trips were made "up to the big water" or Shadehill, and even Haley. They also had a love for swimming and taught their children to water ski even though they could not swim.

Once they both retired, they enjoyed going to Donna Texas for winters with friends. They would make crafts to sell at the Flea Markets. During their summers, they would garden and can their goods. She loved a good game of cards and playing slot machines.

Jerri volunteered for the cedar chest for several years. She took over her mother's role as President of the ARC in 2014 and continued in that role until her health would not allow any more.

She was a proud mother and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren even though most did not live close.

Jerri became a resident of Southwest Healthcare in May 2025 and remained there until her death.
