Graveside services for Gary will be on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11:30 am at the Custer City Cemetery.   A Celebration of Gary's Life will be held at a later date at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel of Bowman, ND.

Gary William Parsons passed away unexpectedly at his home in Bowman, North Dakota on January 14th. Gary was born on June 18,1957 in Hot Springs, South Dakota to Greer and Marcella Parsons. Gary grew up in Custer, South Dakota and graduated from Custer High School in 1975. After graduating High school he worked at Red Owl and Piggly Wiggly stores in Custer, Safeway in Sheridan, Wy  and again at Piggly Wiggly in Belle Fourche, SD and Spearfish, SD as the manager.
The opportunity to strike out on his own in the grocery business presented itself in 1981 in Bowman, ND  He owned and operated Gary's Jack & Jill for 35 years. Gary was dedicated to his work and family members. He loved the city of Bowman and all his customers and friends. He also enjoyed hiking, caring for pets and observing all animals.
Gary was predeceased by his parents and his special friend Randi Sue Woeppel of 40 years. He is survived by his brothers Ron Parsons, David Parsons, Bill Parsons and his sister Linda Davis. Also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Gary will be truly missed by family and friends.
