Gabriel "Gabe" G. Maliscke, 61, of Fargo, ND, passed away at the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.

Memorial Services for Gabe will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 4:00 pm at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel.  Deacon Lenny Fischer will officiate with burial to follow in the Bowman Cemetery.

Gabriel "Gabe" Maliscke was born on October 23, 1962 in Bowman, ND, the son of John and Katherine (Kromarek) Maliscke.  Gabe was raised and educated in Bowman, graduating for Bowman High School in 1981.  After high School Gabe attended NDSU in Fargo where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering.   Gabe was united in marriage to Kathy Ann Jorgenson.  To this union, three children were born, Nathan, Sophia and Mollie.

Gabe worked for Woodleys Construction, Brosz Engineering and eventually Ultteig Engineering.  In his free time, Gabe loved spending time with his family, gardening, panning for gold, fishing and dreamed of one day hunting down a Giant Squid.  He loved reading Stephen King Novels, collecting and reading Spiderman comic books.  He also loved watching Star Trek, Columbo and Perry Mason.  Gabe was a member of the Lion's Club.  He also had a love for the outdoors from days of being in Boy Scouts to being a Scout Leader.  His troop even helped plant the trees and the Lion's Park in Bowman.

He is survived by his children, Nathan, Sophia and Mollie, granddaughter Ora, siblings; Ron Kromarek, Cindy (Robin) Jensen and Emily (Scott) Shear, several nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Kate Maliscke and sister Althea.
