Francine L. Peters, 62, of Lakeville, MN, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024 in Lakeville, MN.

Funeral Services for Francine will be on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bowman Lutheran Church in Bowman.  Burial will follow in the Bowman Cemetery.  Visitation for Francine will be on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 12-9 with the family present from 5-6pm at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel in Bowman.  Services will be livestreamed on the Bowman Lutheran Church Facebook page.  We will add the link here.

The family of Francine Lorraine Peters is saddened to announce her passing on Thursday, December 5, 2024 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

She was born in Bowman, ND on February 10, 1962 daughter of the late Donald and Helen Peters. Francine graduated from Bowman High School in 1980 and later moved to Missouri City, TX.  In 2004 she earned an Associate Degree from Houston Community College in Houston, TX.

Francine worked at the Missouri City Police Department as Records Management Clerk where she retired after 30 years of service.  She was proud of her work in the community and enjoyed the police station camaraderie.

Francine later moved to Lakeville, MN to be near her sister.  She became a resident of the Fountains at Hosanna Assisted Living Center.  Living at the Fountains provided her the opportunity to explore writing, music, art, and her faith.

Wherever Francine lived she always enjoyed connecting with people.  She loved going on adventures with family and friends.  Visits were even better if it involved chocolate and a dog that would give her puppy kisses.

She is survived by her sister Cindy(Magne) Hatlevik. She was predeceased by parents Donald and Helen Peters.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 14th at Bowman Lutheran Church in Bowman, ND.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be given to the University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center, Fountains at Hosanna Lifelong Learning Fund or donor's choice.
