Evelyn Allram, 95, of Bowman, ND, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the Southwest Healthcare Long Term Center in Bowman.

Evelyn Allram, 95, of Bowman, ND died on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Southwest Healthcare Services in Bowman, ND, surrounded by loved ones.

Evelyn Tkachenko was born on January 14, 1929, the daughter of Nick and Mary(Glovatsky) Tkachenko.  She was raised west of Killdeer ND.  Evelyn attended Sheyenne River Academy by Harvey, ND.  After high school, she attended Union College for two years before she caught the eye of Eugene Hansen. On September 16, 1948, they were united in marriage.

Evelyn and Eugene made their home in rural Bowman, ND, where they farmed and raised livestock.  Evelyn helped with farm duties while raising their five children, Teddy, Alan, Curt, Jeff, and Vicki.  Eugene Hansen died on October,24,1970, which left her to run the farm and raise their children alone.

Evelyn married Eldon Allram on November,18,1981.  They continue to work on the farm with Evelyn's son, Curt Hansen, but they made their home in Bowman, ND.

Evelyn was an active member of the Bowman Seventh Day Adventist Church, working with the pathfinder youth group, and Sabbath school classes.  Washing and setting hair at the nursing home, helping the food pantry, and volunteering for Helping Hands were a few of her contributions to the church and community.

She enjoyed many things in life-traveling, gardening, cooking, baking, and helping others. But most of all, Evelyn enjoyed spending time with their family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Eldon Allram, 91, of Bowman, ND; sons and daughters-in-law, Ted's wife, Ketty Hansen(Alpajora), ID; Alan and Rayleen(Weisz)
Hansen, MN; Curt's wife, Jerry and Charlene(Juhl) Hansen-Davis, ND; Jeff and Diane(Pelto)Hansen, KS; daughter and son-in-law, Barry and Vicki (Hansen)Toay, ND,  eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.  Step sons and daughter-in-laws, step daughters and son-in-laws; Douglas and LouAnn(Bannink)
Allram, WI; Keith and Debra(Allram)Thomas, FL; Rickie and Darice(Moskal)Allram, WI; Craig and Cindy(Chermack)
Allram, WI; Sam and Denise(Allram)Ehlenz, MN. Twelve grandchildre, plus two grandchildren that are deceased, and twenty-four great-grandchildren and twenty six great great grandchildren .

Evelyn was preceded in death on her side by her parents, Nick and Mary Tkachenko; her first husband, Eugene Hansen; two sons, Ted Hansen and Curt Hansen.

Evelyn is sleeping in Jesus and anxious for his soon return.

A service for Eldon and Evelyn will be held in Bowman, North Dakota on June 13th, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
