Eileen Marie Mosbrucker was born to Edward and Joesphine von der Heyden in Wapato, Washington October 26, 1934 and died Sunday November 28,2021 in Westriver hospital in Hettinger, ND
Eileen grew up on a fruit ranch outside of town.  Picking fruit to make money was a summer job and in her teenage years Eileen packed fruit at the Wapato Big Y.  Pete Mosbrucker came to Wapato to attend a wedding and visit his sister Liz Wheeler and family.  While there he met Angie and Cathie Wheelers friend, Eileen, on a blind date.   They were married a few years later and headed back to ND.  As the house Pete was building 3 miles nw of Bowman wasn't completed the couple lived with his mother Susie Mosbrucker for that first year until it was finished in 1958
Eileen was a hard worked and raised a garden and cleaned homes while living on the farm.  Numerous horseshoe tournaments took the couple on trips east as far as Greenville, Ohio and west as far as L.A. California but Eileens best was winning a grocery store drawing for a trip Hawaii!
After Pete died in 2000 Eileen stayed on the farm for a while; except for winters in town. After deciding to sell the farm and buy a home in Bowman she expanded her job experience; she not only continued cleaning homes but added motels and worked for her sister-in-law at Jenny's Drive Inn.  She discovered coffee and lunch with the ladies, and helping out at the Cedar Chest.  Sewing and crafts were favorite pastimes, sometimes while watching her "soaps" on tv and she enjoyed peddling her trike or walking to the park, grocery store or uptown.  She really enjoyed being able to walk the short distance to St. Charles Catholic church when the weather was agreeable, even though friends were very willing to give her a ride if needed.  She also enjoyed her mini ice cream cones from Eats-n-Treats.
Eileen is survived by her sister Marilyn and Dorothy in California and numerous nieces and nephews and innumerable other relatives and friends.  Although Eileen and Pete didn't have children there seemed to always be children around and on occasion staying overnight
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents
