Dale B. Freih, 89, of Bowman, ND, passed away on January 19, 2023 at the Southwest Healthcare Hospital in Bowman.

A Memorial Service and Time of Remembering Dale will held be held on Saturday April 1, 2023 at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm.

Dale Burton Freih was born on November 20, 1933 to John and Eva Freih in Edgeley, ND.  He attended elementary school and high school in Edgeley.  He entered the U.S. Army in January of 1951 where he was stationed at Ft. Rucker, Alabama until September 20, 1952.  He returned to Edgeley upon his discharge from the Army.  Dale worked for the Milwaukee Railroad.  Dale met and married Deanna Schilman in March of 1956.  They resided in Edgeley for a short time and relocated to Seattle, WA, with their daughter Deb.  Two sons were born in Washington.  The family moved to Minnesota and lived there for many years, where three more kids joined the team.  Dale spent a few years in North Dakota as a dry wall contractor and then back to Minnesota for 16 more years.  After Deanna's death, Dale moved to Bowman, ND, to be with his two daughters who resided there.

Dale will be lovingly remembered by his daughter; Deborah (Jason) of Bowman, ND, and their 6 children, son; Dennis (Denice) of Staples, MN, and their 3 children, daughter; Denise (Scott) of Perham, MN and their 3 children, and son; Daniel of Zimmerman, MN and 35 great grandchildren.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 sons, 1 granddaughter, 1 sister and 3 brothers.
