Cecil R. Braddock, 88, of Reeder, ND, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 near Reeder.

Funeral Services for Cecil will be on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Reeder. Deb Molbert and Pastor Mary Peterson will officiate with burial to be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. CST in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, ND.

Visitaiton for Cecil will be on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 9-9 at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel.

Cecil Braddock was born on August 30, 1929 in Reeder, ND the son of Frances and Elsie (Anderson) Braddock. He attended and graduated from Reeder High School and then enlisted in the United States Navy where he served his country for four years and fought in the Korean War. Cecil was a member of the American Legion 40 and 8 where he was a past commander and a member of the Reeder Fire Department.
Cecil says it was the only four years he was away from Reeder. He loved to tell his stories about hunting, flying and his time spent with the Navy. On August 23, 1953, Cecil was united in marriage to Marvel Iris Luella Bjerke. They were married for 62 years until her passing on March 15, 2016. To this union two daughters were born, Janice and Cecilia.
Cecil is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Daniel Wintermeyer and Cecilia and Shad Pederson; grandchildren, Wade, Crystal (Chris), Amy (Corey) Breanna, Jesse and Mariah; great grandchildren, Lisa, Shawn, Eyan and son to be Dominick in March, Autumn and Brinley. He was preceded in death by his wife Marvel, parents, Frances and Elsie, brother Dale and sister-in-law Ruby Ann and sister Mona Ann.
