Caroline A. Weiler, 84 of Bowman, ND, passed away on Sunday April 1, 2018 at the St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, ND.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Bowman. Fr. Paul Eberle will officiate with burial to follow in the Bowman Cemetery. There will be a Rosary and Scripture Service on Thursday evening at the St. Charles Catholic Church beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Caroline Ann Huschka was born on March 29, 1934 the daughter of Anton and Elizabeth (Miller) Huschka on the family farm 18 miles south of South Heart, ND. Caroline was raised on the family farm and attended a small country school a couple of miles down the road. On November 4, 1953 she was united in marriage to George Weiler. They made their home on a small homestead along highway 22 just south of Shefield where they farmed and began their family after the birth of their oldest son Myron. Soon after that, they moved to Dickinson where their daughter Cleone was born. George worked at Dvorak Motors and Caroline took care of the kids. In 1957 they moved to Bowman where they would spend the rest of their lives and added to their family with the birth of Dale. They owned and operated the Tastee Freeze for several years. Caroline then went to work at the Bowman Drug Company which kept her busy for 34 years until she retired at the age of 71. She was an active member of the St. Charles Catholic Church and a member of the St. Anne's Circle. During her retirement, Caroline stayed busy as everyone witnessed, mowing her yard and taking care of a small garden and often seen shoveling her snow. She volunteered her services at Southwest Healthcare and occasionally at the Cedar Chest. You could find Caroline and her old ford pickup at morning coffee at the Frontier Travel Center and in the afternoons at Lasting Visions visiting with her many friends that were a wonderful support group for her. Caroline was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a loving wife and sister. She will be truly missed by family and friends in this great community that she came to love after all these years. Thank you to everyone.

Caroline is survived by her 3 children; Myron (Sally) Weiler or Durham, NC, Cleone Mulske of Hazelton, ND, and Dale (Barbara) Weiler of Fargo, ND, 7 grandchildren; Jill (Blaine) Svihl, David (Daria) Mulske, Carrie (Larrie) Cherrey, Chelsey (Dustin) Matthews, Megan Weiler, Adam Weiler and Ellen Weiler, 6 great grandsons; Zachary Weiler, Bradley Svihl, Peyton Svihl, Riddick Svihl, Jackson Mulske and Wesley Cherrey, 2 sisters; Dorthy (Ralph) Brinster, Martha (Joe) Frank and twin brother Lawrence (Hilda) Huschka

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents; Anton and Elizabeth, husband; George, brother; Pete Huschka and son –in-law; Dennis Mulske.
