Agnes V. Peterson, 84, passed away on July 3, 2020 at the St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck.

Private family services have been held.  Agnes was interned with her husband Tollof in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, ND.

Agnes Poljansek was born on June 15, 1936, the daughter to Frank and Antonia (Dacar) Poljansek in Ralph, SD.  She attended rural country schools through the 8th grade.  Agnes then stayed at home to help on the family farm until she married the love of her life, Tollof C. Peterson, Sr. on November 27, 1954.  Agnes will be  remembered for being a caring and giving person.  She was always willing to help others whether it was sewing, baking, playing games or providing comfort.  She loved to visit and could make friends everywhere she went.

Greatful for having shared her life are her two daughter, Cindy (Greg) Steiner and Sherry (Ray) Hofland and son Tom (Denice) Peterson, 10 grandchildren, Justin (Serena) Steiner, Sara Steiner, Samantha (Isidro) Zapata, Jessica (Shawn0 Hoenke, Jonathan (Alicia) Hofland, Kristin (Aaron) Helland, Ben (Kayla) Peterson, Alan (Ashley) Peterson, Michael McLeod, Randy (Lindsey) McLeod; 15 great grandchildren, one brother, Andrew (Betty) Poljansek, four sisters: Frances (Frank) Kraft, Carol Besselievre, Kathy (Doug) Donner, Theresa Poljansek, sister-in-law, Ruby (Fritz) Goerndt, brother-in-law, Joe (Judy) Materna.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Antonia, husband, Tollof, one infant son and daughter, and three brothers
