Agnes Fisher was born on December 24, 1917 in Dunn County, ND, near Dickinson to Anton and Agnes (Pavlicek) Fisher. She was the third youngest of eight children. The family relocated and homesteaded south of Gascoyne, ND in the late 1920's. Agnes attended elementary school north of Dickinson through the fourth grade. Then when they moved south of Scranton, she attended elementary school in a country school. It was 3 miles to school and the Fisher siblings went on a 1horse buggy or walked. Agnes married Bill Kralicek on August 23, 1941 in Scranton, ND in a double wedding with her brother Tony Fisher and Bill's sister Judy Kralicek. They lived in Reeder where Bill had a wrecking shop. When bill got called into the service, he sold his wrecking shop and Agnes moved in with her parents to help them out on the farm until he was don with training in Los Angels, CA. When bill finished with training, Agnes moved to California to be with Bill. They lived there for about 2 years. After Bill was shipped over seas to serve his country, Agnes returned home to help her parents' farm since all brothers were gone to service too. Agnes also worked at a restaurant in Gascoyne for "Fat" Parington until he sold his business. After Bill returned home from the service, they lived on the Kralicek farm until 1946 when Bills brother George moved out to the farm. They then moved to the Anton Fisher farm until 1952 when they built their own home south of Gascoyne. They lived there and farmed until Bill's death on October 10, 1981. Agnes continued to live there until 2004, when she moved to Glen Ullin Nursing Home at the age of 86.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, one son, Lee, two siblings who died in infancy, Edward and Sofie, one sister, Lillian Symanowski, and four brothers, Albert, Charlie, George and Tony.
