Anton "Mike" Michael Holzemer, 76, of Kingston, NY, formerly of Amidon, ND, passed away on July 4, 2019 at his home.

Memorial Services for Mike will be on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 10:00 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in New England, ND.  Fr. Benz will celebrate the Mass with burial to follow in the St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Amidon.

Mike was born on December 19, 1942 the son of Butch and Polly (Elliott) Holzemer. He attended the Allen School for the Deaf and graduated High School from Bethlehem Academy in Fairbault, MN. He graduated with honors with a degree in math from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. He spent his entire career with IBM as a programmer and design planner. After his retirement, Mike kept busy with traveling and volunteer work. He will be especially missed by his friends in the deaf community.

Mike is survived by his brother Ernie Holzemer of Amidon, ND, nephew Joe Janikula and nieces Kate Holzemer and Ellie Russell, in-laws, Gene and Barb Janiula and Lois Holzemer. He was proceded in death by his parents, Butch and Polly and siblings David Holzemer and Fran Janikula.
