Beverly (Patterson) Crocker

She was born August 7, 1934, in Bowman, ND, to Bert H. Patterson and Myrtle (Thompson) Patterson. After graduating from Bowman High School, Bev married L.D. Crocker on February 8, 1953. They primarily lived in Bowman, where along with Bev’s brother Bus Patterson, L.D. co-owned and operated, Bowman Sales and Service for many years. Bev was a stay-at-home mother to their four daughters and later worked with Bus and L.D., keeping books at the dealership.

Bev loved camping, playing cards, and enjoying life with her family and friends. She was well known for her ever present smile and joyous attitude. As very well stated by her great-niece Corrie Tivis, she leaves this earthly world having left an imprint on the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing her.

Bev is survived by her daughters, Kristie (Alex) Zonn of Tehachapi, CA; her sons Bryce and Joshua, Kim Brockman of Omaha, NE; her daughters Tenora and Gabrielle, Kelley Jones of Enid, OK; her children Brook, Misty, Jason, Jeffrey, Jared and Krystal, Lisa (Michael) Young of Rapid City, SD; her sons Mike Jr, Marc and Alex. She was also very proud of her 29 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are Bev’s siblings Bus Patterson, Vi Homiston and Gerri Solberg, her in-laws Jim Crocker and Nancy King and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bev was predeceased by her beloved husband, L.D, her parents and five brothers.
